What You’ll Do

• Treat orthopedic patients with a movement-based approach
• Guide patients into long-term strength beyond PT
• Build relationships and deliver real results

• DPT (KS license or eligible)
• Strong communication skills

Location: Freedom Physical Therapy & Training Center – Shawnee, KS

Compensation: Starting at $17/hour

Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week (final schedule to be determined)

About the Role

The Freedom Care Team Lead is the heart of our organization.

You'll often be the very first voice someone hears when they call Freedom and the first smile they see when they walk through our doors.
More importantly, you'll help create an experience that makes every patient, member, employee, and community partner feel welcomed, cared for, and valued.

This role extends far beyond answering phones or checking people in. You'll help coordinate daily operations, support our leadership team, improve systems, and play an important role in helping Freedom continue to grow.

What You'll Do

Front Desk Operations

• Manage daily front desk workflow and accurate patient records
• Manage PT and patient schedules to optimize clinical efficiency
• Verify patient insurance benefits
• Answer patient questions related to billing and statements

Community & Growth

• Provide high-level customer service and member support patient/member communication
• Help create experiences that generate exceptional reviews and referrals
• Look for opportunities every day to improve the patient and member experience

Leadership, Management and Accountability

• Schedule, onboard, train, and manage the Freedom Care Team and Interns, ensuring company standards and expectations are followed by all
• Foster a positive, organized, and accountable team environment
• Communicate key updates and cascading messages to staff

Qualifications

Preferred (but not required):

• Customer service or hospitality experience
• Administrative or scheduling experience
• Healthcare or fitness experience
• Leadership experience
• Insurance verification experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and software quickly

• Shadow Physical Therapists and GPT coaches
• Engage with patients and members (40+)
• Assist with clinic flow, organization, and equipment
• Learn how we transition patients from rehab to strength
