Amelia Duff is originally from Springfield, Missouri, and moved to Kansas to attend the University of Kansas, where she’s studying Exercise Science on a Pre-Physical Therapy track. Now a sophomore, she’s the youngest of three siblings and loves spending her free time watching movies, playing with her two dogs, and cheering on baseball games.
The best part of Millie’s story so far has been discovering that physical therapy is her calling. She began college pursuing nursing, but after completing an internship at Freedom Physical Therapy, she realized she could combine her love for sports with her passion for helping others regain strength and confidence.
Millie describes herself as calm, sincere, and passionate. She’s dedicated to helping others get back to doing what they love and move through life with strength. Most people would never guess she’s afraid of deep water, but that doesn’t stop her from diving into every opportunity to grow and serve.
When she feels most like herself, Millie is with her family and dogs, watching a baseball game or simply enjoying their company. She’s also working to make daily exercise a consistent habit—aiming for 30 minutes of movement each day to practice the same strength she encourages in others.
