Bella Leon is from Sioux City, Iowa, and moved to Kansas City in August 2022 to attend MidAmerica Nazarene University. Drawn to the energy of a big city and her love for soccer, Bella quickly found a second home here in KC.

As a senior at MNU, she’s pursuing her degree with plans to attend graduate school next fall. Bella describes herself as disciplined, servant-hearted, and intentional—qualities that shine through in her role at Freedom. She’s passionate about helping others grow into the best version of themselves while enjoying the process along the way.

When she’s not studying or working, you’ll find Bella on the soccer field, lifting, exploring new coffee shops, or traveling. She’s especially grateful for the people and experiences God has placed in her life—and few people know her full name, Gabriela, was inspired by a professional tennis player.
