Ezinne Okoro grew up in Dodge City, Kansas, and moved to Kansas City in 2023 to attend the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She earned her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Wichita State University before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Ezinne says the best part of her story so far has been passing her board exam and beginning her career as a physical therapist, where she has the opportunity to help people return to the activities they love. Outside of Freedom, Ezinne enjoys staying active, reading, trying new restaurants around Kansas City, and spending time with her family and friends. Growing up with four siblings, she values the strong support and encouragement her family has always provided. Ezinne describes herself as driven, compassionate, and optimistic. She's passionate about helping people regain their confidence and independence through movement while building meaningful relationships along the way. One thing that has had a profound impact on her life is her faith, which continues to guide and shape who she is. When she feels most like herself, she's working out, cheering on her favorite sports teams, or making memories with the people she loves. She's currently focused on being fully present and intentional in each moment, appreciating the opportunities in front of her while looking ahead to a fulfilling career serving others.
