Evan Omitt grew up in Topeka, Kansas, and moved to the Kansas City area to attend the University of Kansas, where he’s studying Exercise Science on a Pre-Physical Therapy track. His motivation to help others is fueled by his own experiences of growth, faith, and community—something that became especially meaningful during an 8th-grade summer camp that strengthened his faith and gave him lifelong friendships.

Evan describes himself as motivated, helpful, and kind. He’s passionate about helping others live their best lives, believing that seeing someone you’ve helped succeed brings even more joy than succeeding yourself.

Outside of Freedom, Evan enjoys lifting, hiking, listening to music, playing games, and spending time with family and friends. Most people don’t know that he loves to sing, even though he admits he’s not great at it. He’s currently focused on showing up early and on time as a daily habit—a way to show respect and care for others.
