Marisa is a Shawnee, Kansas native and the middle sibling between her sister and brother. She’s currently a junior at the University of Kansas, majoring in Exercise Science on a Pre-PT track. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing golf.

1. What is the best part of your story so far?

The best part of my story so far was getting baptized last July with my best friend and family supporting me.

2. Name three words that you would use to describe yourself?

Hardworking, cpmpassionate, and creative

3. What is something no one would ever believe to be true about you?

I am a second-degree black belt in karate.

4. What are you passionate about related to the work you do in serving others?

I want to make people feel like there best selfs and want to make them feel validated with anything they are going through.

5. What is one thing you are trying to make a habit?

Reading before bed to get off my phone.
