McKinzie Weaver was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, and earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Newman University. Her warmth, energy, and ability to connect with people make her a natural fit as Freedom’s Community Outreach & Marketing Coordinator, where she builds relationships throughout the community and helps share Freedom’s mission.

McKinzie describes herself as personable, energetic, and bubbly. She’s passionate about getting to know individuals and their stories, believing that genuine connection is the foundation of great care and community.

The best part of her story so far has been seeing God’s plan unfold—tearing her ACL led her to the right college, friendships, and ultimately Freedom PTTC. Outside of work, you’ll find her playing pickleball, staying active, or spending time with friends and family. She’s currently working on learning Spanish and feels most herself when she’s around others—connecting and creating meaningful moments.
